Atomic Bullet Planter

So I have been on the hunt for a vintage bullet planter for many many months with no luck. I would love to have a true vintage one but they are just way to hard to find. So I have resorted to a vintage reproduction (I know, gasp) piece. I really think I will like this reproduction piece thanks to The Hip Haven in Austin Texas. They have many different colors to choose from so you can be sure and get the color you want. My search for a vintage turquoise bullet planter could have lasted a life time. Now thanks to The Hip Haven I can have immediate gratification and add it to my decor now! I chose the turquoise reproduction retro bullet planter but the other colors are just as beautiful. I actually had a hard time deciding between the orange and turquoise. Maybe my next one will be orange!

New Blog Design

I'm trying out a new blog design. I'm not really sure I like it yet, I still have my name reserved over on word press but that migration is more time consuming than I have time for right now. At some point maybe, but for now I'm here on blogger and really liking the new options for backgrounds they are rolling out. There's not really enough mod, retro or vintage looking backgrounds yet but I may play around with it some more and see if I find something that I think I should stick with. Thanks for visiting and check back soon to see if I have found another background and layout to go with.

Back from Vacation

Hello All! I am back from vacation and my shops are back open. Please stop by and take a look and see what I have for sale. I found some fabulous vintage jewelry in New York City but unfortunately I am going to keep everything for myself (for now) :-) Thank you to Beauty Crisis Vintage (97 1/2 East 7th Street) in the East Village for telling us about the wonderful little vintage street market on The Lower East Side - The Hester Street Market, if you are ever over that way on a Saturday or Sunday be sure and stop by and check it out. There are also independent jewelry makers there and I got the most fab handmade sterling necklace from Jessica DeCarlo. It was just a wonderful treat and I love wearing my new necklace!
